(1) High load-bearing capacity
Mechanical principle: When the screw is screwed in, the expansion tube is stretched open to generate friction and compression force with the hole wall, which can withstand large weights (such as furniture, brackets, appliances, etc.).
Applicable load: Suitable for fixing heavy objects (such as cabinets, air conditioners, lighting fixtures, pipe supports, etc.), with a load-bearing capacity far exceeding that of ordinary plastic buckles or adhesive methods.

Expansion structure: Common types include plastic expansion pipes (for light and medium loads) and metal expansion pipes (for heavy loads), with the latter mostly made of galvanized steel or stainless steel material.
Anti loosening design: After expansion, it tightly adheres to the hole wall, resistant to vibration and impact, and is not easy to loosen after long-term use.

Wall adaptation: Suitable for hard and dense substrates such as concrete, brick walls, and stone. Some special models can be used for hollow bricks or gypsum boards (requiring special anchor bolts).
2. Material and type
Type Material Characteristics
Plastic expansion pipes made of nylon, PP, and PE are lightweight, insulated, and rust resistant, suitable for household lightweight fixation (such as hanging paintings and storage racks), with a load-bearing capacity ranging from 5-50kg.
Metal expansion pipes made of galvanized steel and stainless steel are high-strength and corrosion-resistant, suitable for industrial or outdoor heavy-duty fixation (such as air conditioning outdoor units and steel structures), with a load-bearing capacity of over 100kg.
3. Installation steps
Drilling: Drill holes according to the diameter of the expansion tube (with a depth slightly longer than the length of the expansion tube).
Cleaning the hole: Remove debris from the hole to ensure that the expansion tube is fully embedded.
Insert expansion tube: Insert the expansion tube into the hole and level it with the wall surface.
Screw in screws: Use an expansion tube to screw in the matching screws and stretch the tube wall to complete the fixation.
4. Precautions
Wall type limitation: It is not applicable to loose or porous materials (such as foam bricks, low-quality gypsum board), and special anchor bolts should be selected.
Drilling accuracy: If the aperture is too large, it will reduce friction, while if it is too small, it may cause the expansion tube to be unable to be inserted or broken.
Rust prevention treatment: Stainless steel or plastic expansion pipes are preferred for humid environments such as bathrooms and outdoors.
Load matching: To avoid overloading, metal expansion tubes should be selected for heavy-duty fixation and additional fixing points should be added.
